On Hardman Street, there are 2 unused clubs sandwiched between 2 takeaway shops. It has an interesting history, set out here by Jade Wright. It looks like this from the street

The area cordoned of seems to be this, which includes the ex LJMU site,
There is no planning permission in and the building was on the market but doesn't seem to be anymore, the latest references name Brownlow Property Management as having some connection. Brownlow specialises in student accommodation, something which Hardman house has been licensed for. but the buildings behind on Maryland street were offices and part of the student support.
